The 2011 Flagship Business and Investment Summit is to take place on the 4th and 5th of July 2011 at the Atlantic Palace Resort (Agadir).
The Business and Investment Summit 2011 will bring together over 350 government officials, IFIs and private sector company representatives including SMEs, consulting, banking, investment and private equity firms from Morocco and abroad. The aim is to explore key investment opportunities in Morocco and to attract new investors, trade partners, joint ventures and technology transfers.
Morocco, as we have been highlightig in our news section over the past few months, is steadily modernizing and globalizing. The Kingdom has successfully presented itself as a hub for channeling sales of products and for entering the Maghreb market and beyond. What's more, there has been a major expansion and investment in the agricultural and fisheries sectors, the infrastructure, financial services, water and power resources, and renewables.
One of the main aims of the summit will be to promote a regional approach in Morocco. All 16 Moroccan Regional Investment Centres (CRI), AMDI and the Agencies for the Development of Morocco's Provinces will be present throughout the summit, with various stands and speakers showcasing regional investment opportunities.
